ES Elektro, de grootste zelfstandige elektrotechnische groothandel van Nederland, is marktleider in de toelevering van elektrotechnische componenten en bijbehorende diensten aan industriële eindgebruikers, (toeleveranciers van) machinebouwers en technische installateurs.
In Roemenie heeft ES Elektro sinds 2008 een vergelijkbare marktpositie opgebouwd. Vanuit het hoofdkantoor in Cluj-Napoca worden klanten door geheel Roemenie bediend, ondersteund door vestigingen in Timisoara en Boekarest. De verwachting is dat er vanaf 2017 8 regionale verkoopkantoren zijn. Op de 3 vestigingen in Roemenië vinden klanten 25 technische gesprekspartners, betrokken bij de processen van hun klant. Daar waar nodig worden zij ondersteund door hun collega’s uit Nederland.
