Mission vision

Our core business is to promote economic relations between the Netherlands and Romania vice versa, as we believe it is in the interest of both our countries. Of course, we see it as our primary responsibility to add value for our members.
Because we need to be able to answer every entrepreneur’s“What’s in it for me” question positively.

We are not an organization with a costly overhead and operate on a nonprofit basis with unpaid board members. But we go a step further than others as an organization of and for entrepreneurs. We are quite proud to know that we have many members with high levels of civic engagement who actually invest in local communities without any commercial interest. And they prefer to do it themselves without the intervention of organizations.

We also go a step further in the country where we successfully do business. We pay attention to promoting culture, tourism, history, humanitarian causes and social developments. Perhaps, then, there is an indirect business interest because you have an advantage if you carry knowledge of the country over your competitors.

Our organization does not receive any subsidy and therefore acts independently. We strive for good cooperation with governments and we can conclude that we usually succeed in this. But also make ourselves heard loud and clear when we observe developments that threaten to disrupt bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Romania.

It is worth mentioning that we are a non-sectoral organization and thus any entrepreneur can turn to us.
