Tarom
De nationale luchtvaartmaatschappij is opgericht in 1954. Deze Roemeense carrier heeft een van de jongste vloten in Europa, bestaat uit 24 vliegtuigen. Tarom werd lid van de International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 1993 en de Association of European Airlines in 2000. Op 25 juni 2010 is TAROM lid geworden van de SkyTeam, een wereldwijde alliantie van luchtvaartmaatschappijen die haar passagiers toegang biedt tot een uitgebreid wereldwijd netwerk van bestemmingen, frequenties en aansluitingen. Door toetreding tot de SkyTeam frequent flyer-programma, kunnen passagiers verdienen en mijlen, het maken van vluchten met een van de aangesloten bedrijven. Men verzorgt een dagelijkse vlucht tussen Amsterdam en Boekarest v.v. en heeft in Roemenië een vijftigtal aansluitende bestemmingen.
