The HempFlax philosophy

To serve man and the environment by supplying affordable, modern, natural hemp products
for a sustainable future, and to develop a product chain from farmer to consumer. This has
been HempFlax’s goal from the first moment it reintroduced industrial hemp. HempFlax,
located in the village of Oude Pekela, focuses on the production and processing of
renewable raw materials, semi-finished products and final products made from eco-grown
hemp and flax. By working in a professional manner on the development and innovation of
renewable natural fibre products, HempFlax is at the forefront of a durable industrial chain.
Through contract farming with farmers in the Netherlands and Germany, HempFlax obtains
new natural fibres on an annual basis, particularly fibre hemp. By marketing renewable
resources, the company is a leader in this innovative industrial development. Its main
objective is the creation of renewable raw materials for industrial end products and
products for the consumer market.
