BioBase & Hemparade stable bedding
HempFlax hemp bedding also saves you work because the stable bedding can remain on the
ground longer. Usage is therefore considerably lower than straw or wood chip. Additional
advantages are: less storage space needed and less stable waste. Hemp bedding transforms
the manure pile into high-quality organic garden compost in two to three months. Manure
disposal problems are history.
Unlike wood chip and straw, HempFlax bedding is virtually dust free, and it also regulates
moisture. Veterinarians recommend the use of hemp bedding in the stables of horses with
allergies or respiratory problems. For caretakers dealing with similar disorders, hemp
bedding is of course ideal. Eucalyptus has been added to BioBase for a fresh scent that
expands the airways and has a natural antiseptic effect. Eucalyptus also prevents the horse
from eating the bedding.
